Thanksgiving & Thankfulness
As usual in my family I was asked to make the green bean casserole. It has been a holiday favorite for years. When I first began having Thanksgiving with my husband's family they did not have any green bean casserole, but now it's a staple on the table every Thanksgiving.
I can't help but be reminded of all the many wonderful Thanksgivings I've had with my family. I'm very blessed to have the family that I do, and I am thankful for them.
A few years ago I came up with my own little recipe for candied yams and it's been a family favorite ever since. I allow the marshmallows on top to brown. I love the contrast of sweet yams to the crunch of the marshmallows.
I'm thankful for the gifts and abilities God has given me. I'm thankful that both of my little businesses are flourishing, and that I'm still able to follow my bigger plans for my businesses while coming up with new ideas.
I'm am probably most thankful for my husband. He has been supportive through all my endeavors. I appreciate his friendship more then he will ever know. Even after all these years I find him fascinating, and he still gives me chills when he kisses me. All the wonderful things he does aside I love him just as he is and am thankful to have him and to be with him everyday.~
I'm thankful for these things and so many more.
