Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookies

A long time ago there was a little country girl who loved to bake.
She would make cakes, pies, and cookies.
Her favorite cookie to make was peanut butter chocolate chip.
Alas, the young girl grew up and lost her favorite recipe...

Until her mom, unkowingly, brought it to her when visiting for Christmas!!!
Eeek! That's right as you may have guessed, I am the country girl with the lost recipe, but it is not lost anymore!
I made 2 dozen for my family before they left as a treat on the way home.
Oh I love these cookies!

They are soft, but still have that peanut butter cookie taste that falls apart in your mouth.
Add chocolate chips and I'm in heaven.

Of course I plan to sell these along with my other goodies on etsy-eventually.
For now those who know me can pre-order a batch here and there.

I hope everyone enjoys my long lost favorite cookie as much as I do. :)
It's good to be making these again-brings back happy memories.

Mini Muffin Keesh

I needed something quick for breakfast during my work week.
30 minutes later I had these delicious, easy to re-heat, mini muffin keeshes.
Here they are before going into the oven.
You can see the spinach, mushrooms, cheese, bacon, and chorizo.

25 minutes DING!
All done!

My husband tried one and loved it.
I think we've found a new breakfast favorite.

The best part is they still taste great after re-heating. YUM!

What a great way to start the new year-with a healthy delicious breakfast.
